Emma Lavelle happy with Paisley Park ahead of NH season

Emma Lavelle reports the star remaining hurdler Paisley Park in health before the new campaign of past season.
The seven-year-old was unbeaten last semester – progressing to landing from disability victories at Haydock and Aintree the Long Walk at Ascot and the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham, until hammering his effort in Prestbury Park in March from the Stayers’ Hurdle.
Lavelle is hopeful her stable star can pick up where he left off – with the Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury on November 29 his very first objective.
Lavelle said:”Paisley is quite great. He did over the summer and looks around and strong and big right now!
“He is back cantering and we are very pleased with him. Even the Ladbrokes Trophy meeting at Newbury is his first goal and after that the races form of select – it is definitely easier making programs for your horses.
“Hopefully we will visit Newbury, then on to the Long Walk at Ascot, the Cleeve in Cheltenham and then straight to the Stayers’ Hurdle at the Festival then possibly on to Punchestown – all fairly Smallish targets!”
Training a horse comes with a substantial quantity of stress and expectation, but Lavelle is relishing the opportunity as opposed to feeling daunted.
She added:”It is definitely a different feeling. Last year he was coming and the up and today he.
“He is still a young horse, however, who can only get stronger.
“it is a nice place to maintain.”
